While in Pennsylvania, Dave and Joyce’s main task is to write curriculum for pastors and emerging leaders in Uganda, as well as keep the organizational part of the Project running smoothly. Our Ugandan team is operating on full steam as they travel to teach and mentor leaders in Uganda, as well as individuals from South Sudan, Sudan and the DRC. Please pray for the opportunities listed below.
Combined Team Schedule
- Month of September – Ugandan Team visits Oyam and reetablish training in Buvuma Islands.
- Month of October– Our Ugandan Team’s trip to West Nile Region of Uganda to connect and equip several groups of church leaders for ministry. We are grateful for inroads with churches in and around the large refugee Settlements hosting people from Sudan, South Sudan and D.R. Congo.
- October 2-4- Dave and Joyce will speak at the West Church Mission Conference in Peabody, MA
- October 10-19– Dave visits Kampala for TEAM meetings and 2027 planning
- Month of November – Working on development of biblical resources in Uganda and the States. The Ugandan Team will visits West Nile and prepare for December Trailblazers Seminar.
- December 6-11 – Trailblazers Seminar 6 on “Leadership Communication”. A total of 55 people will gather in Kampala from across Uganda and neighboring countries to consider the skill of leaders in preaching, teaching, counseling, mentoring and other leadership qualities. Dave plans to join and teach at the Seminar
- Month of December involves final mentoring opportunities and all the year-end reports and responsibilities.
Looking to 2027 – One of the important events on our yearly schedule involves an Envision Conference. Over the past two years, we brought together 100 individuals to offer fresh vision for the ministry to which God has called them. In 2027, as the Trailblazers Group completes their Eight Seminars, we plan on holding two large Envision Conferences that brings all we have equipped into Kampala for further training. On the ground, our Team will travel to mentor and connect with the pastors and emerging leaders in their regions as well as through What’sApp and other means.
One more significant part of 2027 is the concentrated work in the West Nile Region. It is our hope to hold two large group Seminars near three large Refugee Settlement camps. Of course, we are grateful for the ongoing use of diverse MegaVoice devices packed with Scripture and Bible stories.
